Mr. Michael Khodayari - Special Education/Inclusion Teacher

Michael Khodayari (Mr. K) teaches Special Education/Inclusion classes. He holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas Arlington (2012) and a bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of Texas Arlington (2008). Mr. Khodayari always had a heart for children with special needs, as a student himself, he struggled socially and emotionally in school because of disability. He made a pact with himself if he ever becomes a teacher, he’d rather work with special needs students. Mr. Khodayari’s career began at Sunrise McMillan in August of 2014 and he has been here ever since. On a personal note, Mr. K likes to cook, travel, jog, and play soccer.

Mrs. Jacqueline London - Diagnostician

Ms. Irene Gracia - Dyslexia

Irene Gracia is originally from Fort Worth, though she took detours to different parts of the world to grow, learn, and contribute to a better world--while having some wonderful adventures. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer and ESOL preservice teacher trainer while in Eastern Europe, to help bring post communist countries a more stable future. She taught English in various countries so that they could develop business opportunities for themselves and their countries. She also saw there were children "back home" who might need help as much or more than those she worked with in these far away places, so she came home to help. Ms. Gracia loves to hike, read, and travel and do photography when there is time. A lover of reading, she has done plenty of it while she earned degrees at Tulane University-New Orleans, LA BA Economics, Texas Wesleyan University M.Ed_ESOL University of Texas-Arlington MA TESOL/Reading Specialist/Master Reading Teacher, University of Salamanca-Spain MA Spanish Language and Culture, and University of Alcala' de Henares-Spain. She also completed her Cognitive Academic Language Therapist training, so that she can help others read more, too.
